23. March 2008
In order to provide the cytric User with a comfortable way to select a destination for the hotel search, the cytric Administrator has the possibility to define destination shortcuts for the most important destinations of the company.
If more than 30 destination shortcuts are defined, the user has to type in a destination in the respective search field in order to find all destination shortcuts in this location. CHANGE OF NAVIGATION WHEN ‘CHANGE PREFERENCES’ IS SELECTED
23. March 2008
During the booking workflow for air bookings the user may select ‘Change Preferences’ on the ‘Air Options’ page or ‘Available Air Fares’ page in order to change the previously entered data. cytric then returns to the ‘Start Air Booking’ page where the originally entered preferences are pre-populated into the respective fields. A small window will open if the user clicks on the displayed total price, listing separately the air fare and tax and fee information for the flight. This allows detailed information regarding the consistence of the total price.
In case a Hotel Rate Limit is defined in the system, all hotels exceeding the rate limit are displayed within the tab ‘Too Expensive Hotels’ on the ‘Hotel Selection’ page. In order to improve the usability if a high number of hotels have rates higher than the defined rate limit the number of hotels displayed within the ‘Too Expensive Hotels’ tab is limited to 3o hotels. If there are more than 30 hotels available that exceed the rate limit, multiple ‘Too Expensive Hotels’ tabs will be displayed. The sorting of the hotels within the tabs will be done according to the sorting order defined by the user.
