NEW AIR POLICY MENU ITEM TO SET AVAILABILITY SETTINGS FOR FLIGHT OPTIONS
16/10/2011
i:FAO is glad to introduce an important enhancement of the Air Policy within this new cytric release 11.1. The Availability Settings for Flight Options offer the following possibilities in future:
To reduce displayed connections for certain routes, e.g. if on the route STR-NYC only flights with one connection should be displayed,
To define Nonstop- and Direct connections only for certain routes,
To hide Nonstop- and Direct connections for the Start Flight Booking page,
To configure also the VIA entries for the Start Flight Booking page per route.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: FREE TEXT CAR STATION ENTRIES OF OFFLINE OPTIMIZED WORKFLOW ARE PRE-FILLED IN CAR ONLINE BOOKING WORKFLOW
16/10/2011
With the cytric Travel Wizzard™ workflow it is possible already today to create the segments with the offline optimized workflow. Moreover, with the offline optimized cytric Travel Wizzard™ workflow it is possible to allow free text entries for the station entry.
With the new cytric Release 11.1 the free text station names of the car segments are pre-filled on the station selection page and only corresponding stations are shown in the station selector, in case the offline optimized entered cytric Travel Wizzard™ car segment will be booked online.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: OPTIMIZATION OF CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™ BREADCRUMB NAVIGATION
16/10/2011
Currently, the “Key Data For This Trip” of the cytric Travel Wizzard™ Index page is displayed on separate pages, as Traveller Selection, Key data For This Trip, Trip Identification and Trip Reason, Approver Selection and Shopping Cart.
On the corresponding pages the breadcrumb navigation will be displayed on the right hand side. Due to the fact that all cytric Travel Wizzard™ TMS Settings depend on the location and division of the traveller, cytric can only decide which pages must be shown as soon as the traveller is known.
On the Traveller selection page the step Traveller selection is exclusively shown in the breadcrumb navigation. After the user having made the traveller selection, the cytric Travel Wizzard™ calculates further navigation steps and shows the user the required steps.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: DESCRIPTION FOR REQUESTED SEGMENT STATUS ON CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™ SUMMARY PAGE
16/10/2011
Besides the online, offline and registered status a cytric Travel Wizzard™ segment may have additional status, like online segment not booked yet, online segment booked, offline segment not transmitted to Partner Travel Agency, etc.
These status are currently noted on cytric Travel Wizzard™ summary page by logos. With the new cytric Release 11.1 we are glad to present new additional description texts describing the current status and needed actions.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: STATION CHECK FOR BIBE ONLINE BOOKING
16/10/2011
With the offline optimized cytric Travel Wizzard™ workflow it is possible to activate a NVS station check for a cytric Travel Wizzard™ Rail Segment entry page. Such a check is important in case the administrator wants to apply special cytric Travel Wizzard™ Rules of Usage to define if a rail booking needs to be booked online or offline. In case the cytric Travel Wizzard™ workflow is set optimized online and a rail segment is defined on the start booking page of the BIBE, no cytric Travel Wizzard™ Rule of Usage for the defined routes can be applied, because no NVS station check supports the BIBE online booking workflow.
Therefore, i:FAO is pleased to announce the new Station Check for all online Booking Workflows.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: NEW OPTIONS TO SEND A CONFIRMATION FOR CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™ REQUESTS
16/10/2011
We are pleased to inform you that it will be possible with cytric Release 11.1 to send an eMail confirmation for registered cytric Travel Wizzard™ Bookings. Hence, a new section will be introduced to the existing menu “cytric Travel Wizzard™ - General Settings” where the administrator can select for which requested services or for all services the confirmation should be sent.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: PERSONAL PORTAL™ MENU ITEMS PER SERVICE WHEN CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™ IS OPTIONAL
16/10/2011
With the new cytric Travel Wizzard™ workflow the cytric Travel Wizzard™ menu items per Service where replaced by one single menu item on the cytric Personal Portal™ Page. In case the cytric Travel Wizzard™ is defined as optional for the cytric Personal Portal™ Page the user can decide if he wants to book online or offline.
For the users benefit, we are glad to provide a separate menu item in the cytric Personal Portal™ Page. This option is available in case the cytric Travel Wizzard™ is set as optional for the Personal Portal™. In case the settings are exclusive, only one cytric Travel Wizzard™ menu item is still shown on the Personal Portal™ Page.
ENHANCEMENT OF THE SETTINGS TO STORE THE LOWEST FARE AND DYNAMIC FARE OPTIONS™
16/10/2011
With the new Release the display of the Lowest Fare and the Dynamic Fare Options™ has been optimized. Also, a new functionality was added which allows a more precise storage of these fares.
The so called Lower Fare Override has been added. When this function is activated in the TMS, the lowest flexible fare is considered if this one is cheaper than the lowest restricted fare. Please note that this setting is now stored by default.
From now on updated information will also be available for car VDA bookings thanks to an improved interface. Such updated information might perhaps be requested special equipment or updated details on behalf of the provider in case of car deliveries.
OPTIMISED DISPLAY FOR SORTING ADDITIONAL FLIGHT OPTIONS
16/10/2011
With the forthcoming release the user’s time preferences will be considered even better. Thus, on the GridPricing™ Page additional flight options such as DynaWeb™ or Best Buy offers will be sorted directly into the list of flight options (and not underneath the flight options as it used to be before).
When the user defines a departing time, additional flight options departing between the first flight option of the general availability and the time preference of the user are from now on displayed in the standard availability list and not in the additional flight options list.
ADDITIONAL APPLICATION RULES FOR PERFECT PNR™ ELEMENTS
16/10/2011
From now on it is possible to define additional rules further rules for Perfect PNR™ elements. The reason for this is that e.g. depending on the city pair different PNR entries may be necessary. Thus, it is now guaranteed that only the desired Perfect PNR™ elements are transferred.
LUFTHANSA CREDIT CARD FEE (OPC) AND AIR PLUS DEBIT CARD
16/10/2011
Due to the new Lufthansa credit card fee LH OPC (LH Optional Payment Charge), this charge will from now on be displayed on the confirmation page and on the confirmation eMail. Thus, this fee is not added to the flight fares earlier on the Flight Options page.
Together with the new LH OPC fee a new Air Plus Company Credit Card type is introduced, namely the Air Plus Debit Card. cytric now supports this new credit card Air Plus Debit Card as well as the transmission of the supplementary data to Air Plus. The new Air Plus Debit Card is identical to the current Air Plus Credit Card, however, the related bank account will be directly charged with the payments. When using the Debit Card instead of the Credit Card, the LH OPC fee will not apply.
The airline FlyBe changed its luggage options in a way that the fee is now calculated according to the weight and the number of pieces. i:FAO is glad to inform you that it is now possible to select among the various luggage options in a drop down menu during the booking workflow in cytric.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: MAINTENANCE OF CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™ PERFECT PNR™ ELEMENTS RAIL CARD NUMBER, RAIL CARD TYPE, RAIL CARD VALIDITY
16/10/2011
The Perfect PNR™ elements cytric Travel Wizzard™ Rail Card Number, Rail Card Type and Rail Card Validity will now be transmitted via the passive PNR to the Partner Travel Agency.
CHANGE OF BOOKING WORKFLOW FOR PAF AND TPC BOOKINGS IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER BOOKINGS
16/10/2011
In general it is defined that TPC/ NON TPC and PAF/ NON PAF will always be in separate PNRs. This will also be considered for change of bookings. All different cases have been evaluated and implemented with the necessary proposed change.
CYTRIC TRAVEL WIZZARD™: REQUEST CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL ONLY BE SENT INCLUDING ALL ADDITIONAL VALUES
16/10/2011
In case Fast Track Offline is activated for cytric Travel Wizzard™ the cytric Travel Wizzard™ Request Confirmation eMail will only be sent, when the user has entered the additional data for offline segments and the cytric Travel Wizzard™ Summary page is displayed to the user. The cytric Travel Wizzard™ Request Confirmation eMail will also contain the additional data of the offline segments.
SYSTEM TEXT ON REQUEST FOR APPROVAL EMAIL WILL DISAPPEAR
16/10/2011
With the new cytric Release 11.1 the defined cytric Travel Wizzard™ system texts of the administrator will no longer appear on the request for approval eMail.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT INCLUDED IN CAR PRICING REQUEST (EUROPCAR/ VDA)
16/10/2011
From now on a user will finish a booking including the costs of the basic rate and the selected special equipment. The additional car pricing delivers the correct price for the car including special equipment.
As already described in a previous Release Note the Amadeus Value Pricer will be not supported any more by Amadeus and cytric. The Amadeus Master Pricer Expert has to be used.
