Lufthansa Preferred Rates are launched by 01. July 2008 for Germany and Austria, and for Switzerland by 01. October. To use preferred rates a special agreement between Lufthansa and the travel agency is necessary.
What does Lufthansa Preferred Rates mean:
In the future a roundtrip fare via GDS with LH preferred rates is cheaper than the same roundtrip or one-way fare without LH preferred rate. In addition Lufthansa will charge the travel agency with a preferred rate fee per coupon (segment).
To meet these new market requirements, it is now possible to set up ‘Airline Segment Fees’ for example for Lufthansa.
Display of LH Preferred Rates The Preferred Fares including the ‘Airline Segment Fee’ is displayed on the GridPricing™, on the Multi Fare Display and on the confirmation.
In addition to the ‘Airline Segment Fee’ can be set in the Air Policy, if the according published or company rate should be displayed when the Preferred Fare is available as well.
Enhancement Perfect PNR™ In this connection, the settings for the Perfect PNR™ elements were enhanced as well.
PRE SELECTION FOR DESTINATION SHORTCUTS TAB DURING HOTEL BOOKING
15. June 2008
With Destination Shortcuts e.g. corporate locations can be defined for the hotel booking workflow. For this location the radius search for available hotels will be started.
As soon as Destination Shortcuts have been defined on the system, two tabs are displayed on the page ‘Start Hotel Booking’. The regular tab ‘Destination’ allows entering the destination. The tab ‘Destination Shortcut’ displays the defined locations.
With cytric Release 8.2 the cytric administrator can decide, which tab should be pre-selected by default.
It is already possible to define for the Perfect PNR™ Date Format the value ‘Minus 1 Day’. With the new cytric release a new validation for this format will be available. In case the date for the PNR Entry is already in the past, the actual date will be used for the PNR entry.
We would like to make all Galileo customers aware of a planned change to the Galileo WebService technology in about eight weeks. With Galileo WebServices we will be able to offer our customers the highest quality connection to Galileo with improved speed and stability. According to this change, the i:FAO Account Management will contact all Galileo customers within the next days.
With the new cytric Release the connectivity to the so called “Neue Vertriebsschnittstelle (NVS) der Bahn” for cytric g8 is available.
Different to other rail solutions in cytric (e.g. BIBE or SBB) no “Punch out” is used which guides the user to the website of the respective rail provider.
With the new VDA Rail access (Deutsche Bahn (NVS)) the complete booking workflow remains in cytric. This means all offers, pricing and the booking itself is done directly in cytric.
The complete integration allows a rail booking without any media breaks with the “Look & Feel” of cytric.
All user data is used as well as the compliance of the travel policy is guaranteed in cytric if the integrated solution Deutsche Bahn (NVS) is used.
